Description
Purpose-built tips for installing heat-set threaded inserts into 3D printed parts using your TS101 soldering iron. These brass tips are shaped to press M2 through M5 inserts cleanly and evenly into PLA, PETG, ASA, and ABS prints — without melting excess material or leaving ugly marks.
Heat-set inserts are the best way to add strong, reusable screw threads to 3D printed enclosures, jigs, and mechanical parts. These tips make the process fast and repeatable. Just heat the TS101 to around 200–230°C, place the insert, and press it in. The tip's profile matches standard insert geometry for a flush, solid fit every time.
Designed to work exclusively with the TS101 and TS100 soldering irons. If you're printing functional parts that need to be assembled and disassembled, these tips are essential.
