Description
PVA is a water-soluble support material for dual-extrusion 3D printers. Print it as your support structure, drop the finished part in water, and the supports dissolve completely — leaving clean, smooth surfaces underneath with zero cleanup marks.
This unlocks geometries that are impossible with breakaway supports: deep internal cavities, complex overhangs, interlocking mechanisms, and organic shapes. PVA bonds well with PLA as the primary material.
Print at 190–210°C with a 45–55°C bed. Store in a dry box — PVA absorbs moisture quickly, which causes bubbling and poor adhesion. Dissolves in room-temperature water in 12–24 hours.
1.75mm diameter. Vacuum-sealed with desiccant. Use within 1–2 weeks of opening for best results, or store in a sealed container with desiccant.
