Description
Polymaker Panchroma Matte PLA is a 1.75 mm, 1 kg matte PLA filament available in Kuwait from NOZL Store. It prints with a soft-touch, low-sheen surface that hides layer lines, so parts look finished straight off the build plate with no sanding or painting. It prints at 190–230°C on almost any FDM printer and runs smoothly in multi-material systems.
What Panchroma Matte is best for
Choose Panchroma Matte for models, figures, home décor, display pieces, gifts and tabletop miniatures: anything that will be photographed, presented or handled. The matte finish removes the glossy look standard PLA shows under light, so prints look made, not printed.

Why makers choose Panchroma Matte
- Finished look: the matte surface hides layer lines, so prints need no post-processing.
- Consistent results: Polymaker tunes each color individually, so a new color prints like the last one.
- Tangle-free: neat factory winding prevents knots and snags on long prints.
- Multi-color ready: reinforced cardboard spools feed reliably in multi-material systems.
Panchroma Matte or Panchroma Basic?
Choose Panchroma Matte when appearance matters most. Choose Polymaker Panchroma PLA (Basic) when you want a smooth standard finish, faster printing (up to 350 mm/s) and stronger parts (40.4 MPa compared with 23.2 MPa tensile strength).
Frequently asked questions
What is Panchroma Matte PLA?
Panchroma Matte is a bioplastic-based PLA filament from Polymaker with a soft matte finish that hides layer lines. It is designed for display prints that should look finished straight off the printer.
What temperature should I print Panchroma Matte at?
Print at a nozzle temperature of 190–230°C and a bed temperature of 25–60°C, with the part-cooling fan on. No enclosure is needed.
Do I need a hardened nozzle for Panchroma Matte?
Not for normal use. Panchroma Matte is slightly more abrasive than standard gloss PLA, so a hardened nozzle is only worth considering if you print large volumes of it.
Does Panchroma Matte work in multi-material systems?
Yes. It comes on a cardboard spool with reinforced edges designed to feed smoothly in multi-material systems.
Can I leave Panchroma Matte prints in a car in Kuwait?
No. PLA starts to soften at around 60°C, and car interiors in Kuwait's summer get far hotter than that. For car accessories and anything left in the sun, use Polymaker PETG.
Do I need to dry Panchroma Matte?
Only if the filament has absorbed moisture, which shows as stringing, popping or rough surfaces. Dry it at 55°C for 6 hours. In Kuwait's humid late-summer months, store open spools in a sealed box or a PolyDryer.
